Students often worry over their college essays, which can vary widely in intent, length, and importance.
CSU's do not require essays.
UC's have their own version of the college essay, known as Personal Insight Questions. These four 350-word responses are different from the more open questions used for Common App and other colleges, and so general advice may not work as well.
